There's No Time To Waste

I thank God for all our faithful brothers and sisters at Living Waters / Way of the Master Ministries. I'm especially thankful for how God has charged them with the task of exhorting and equipping saints to join the battle for souls for the glory of Jesus Christ. None of us know when our last day is, so let's live like it's everyone else's - and lovingly, with great passion and without watering down God's truth, share with them, the Way of eternal life; through Christ Jesus alone. I was so incredibly encouraged by this video. I pray that God will ignite your heart to preach the Gospel to those who are now, where we were once....in a position of enmity with God. May we be so humbled and grateful for our own salvation, that we burn with passion to share this gift of life with others.

When to Say: "AMEN"

I've always told my boys one of my most favorite things is to be found in error by anyone I've ever taught (whether my own children or those God has graciously given me to disciple or counsel). I know that sounds a bit strange, but after I explain why, I'm sure you'll desire this as well. Any teacher is blessed to see their student(s) not only has actually paid close attention to their lessons, but have also trained themselves to apply what they've learned - through research, much study, meditation and personal reflection. Now, when it comes to being a mother training up her children in "the Way they should go" ( Proverbs 22:6 ), her greatest desire is that her children learn to walk in the truth as they themselves begin to study Scripture on their own; testing everything ( Acts 17:10-11 , 1 Thessalonians 5:19-22 , 1 John 4:1 ), from having been taught that only God is perfectly omniscient and all human beings (including mom) are fallible. With this u...

Praying From and For Your Soul

Okay, I'm being a TOTAL copy cat today! I just saw this over at our faithful sister Heidi's blog (if you've never, you've GOT to go visit this precious sister). I hope this makes your heart cry out "YIPEEEE!!!" Like it did mine! ♥ 9 Ways to Pray for Your Soul January 2, 2009 | By: John Piper Category: Commentary Here are some ways to pray for yourself so that you're praying in sync with the way God works. 1. For the desire of my heart to be toward God and his Word. Incline my heart to Your testimonies and not to gain. ( Psalm 119:36 ) 2. For the eyes of my heart to be opened. Open my eyes, that I may behold wonderful things from Your law. ( Psalm 119:18 ) 3. For my heart to be enlightened with these “wonders.” [I pray] that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened. ( Ephesians 1:18 ) 4. For my heart to be united, not divided, for God. O Lord, I will walk in Your truth; unite my heart to fear Your name. ( Psalm 86:11 ) ...

WFW - A New Heaven and A New Earth

What an incredible promise from our Father God - for those who have repented and have trusted in the name of Jesus Christ alone, will forever be remembered; will forever remain with our Sovereign Creator, the Great I Am! Today is a beautiful day to give thanks to our great and awesome God! But then again, isn't every day? As I looked at all three of these pictures, I couldn't choose which one to use because I felt as if they all described the meditations of my heart: My heart overflows with the well-spring of Life found only in Jesus Christ our Lord. ( Acts 4:11-12 ) My continual prayer is that I reflect the brilliant beauty of our Savior. ( 2 Corinthians 4:6 ) I remember the Lord said that one day, He will right all the wrongs and will come with His winnowing fork to separate the chaff from the wheat; and all temporal sufferings will pass as those called by His name will enter His presence forever. ( Luke 3:17 ) And I pray that I be like this tree, growing in the kn...

The Gift of Diabetes - The Gift of the Body of Christ

Please watch this video and allow the Holy Spirit to encourage, refresh and teach you as you listen to our brother Ray, lovingly, compassionately and boldly share the message of eternal salvation through trust in Jesus Christ alone. Hello dearest sisters! I know I've been "away" for a while, but I think I've finally come to a place of acceptance with all my health issues! And here's the VERY short version: I've been diagnosed with: pre-diabetes reactive hypoglycemia or hypoglycemia (which usually turns into diabetes type 1) high blood pressure and a host of other issues due to this there's nothing anyone can do but wait for me to get full blown diabetes just managing it by eating more to keep my sugars leveled With Christ's strength, our Father God's wisdom and great comfort, I've chosen to let go of any anxieties and inhibitions I've had due to my diabetes and all the other complications I've been experiencing. Love Extravagantly, Just Like Jesus

ADVENT ~ Day 14 December 13, 2008 Scripture Passage: READ 1 John 3:11-18 Extravagant adj. - excessively high; exceeding the bounds of reason; going beyond what is deserved or justifiable I'll make a list of God's gracious dealings, all the things God has done that need praising, All the generous bounties of God, his great goodness to the family of Israel— Compassion lavished, love extravagant . He said, "Without question these are my people, children who would never betray me." So he became their Savior. In all their troubles, he was troubled, too. He didn't send someone else to help them. He did it himself, in person. Out of his own love and pity he redeemed them. He rescued them and carried them along for a long, long time. ~ Isaiah 63:7-9 (The Message) Our Father God's love for us is extravagant: excessively high, exceeding the bounds of reason and goes beyond what any of us could ever deserve. He didn't pay for us with the fleeting, ...
