Everybody, Somebody, Anybody and Nobody

I'd like to tell you a story about four people, named:
Everybody, Somebody, Anybody and Nobody

There was a very important job to be done, and Everybody was asked to do it. Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did. So, Somebody got angry about this, because it was Everybody’s job. Everybody thought Somebody would do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn’t. It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

The moral of this story is: Be a Nobody and do what Everybody won’t! Live a life honoring to Christ alone and evangelize, evangelize, evangelize...GO AND MAKE DISCIPLES! Don’t strive to be like Everybody and follow the crowd; don’t pursue to make a name for yourself in this world and become Somebody; and don’t settle to be just Anybody; but make your life’s goal to become Nobody so that the Gift of Jesus Christ’s fullness may be displayed in you so that the entire Body of Christ may be built up!

You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you. I’m speaking to you out of deep gratitude for all that God has given me, and especially as I have responsibilities in relation to you. Living then, as every one of you does, in pure grace, it’s important that you not misinterpret yourselves as people who are bringing this goodness to God. No, God brings it all to you. The only accurate way to understand ourselves is by what God is and by what does for us, not by what we are and what we do for Him.”
