Short answer....NO! And for those of you who’d like for me to elaborate a bit, the following Scriptures support the reason why no one can ever work/earn their way to Heaven:
John 14:6
“Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
Titus 3:4-7
“But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy. He saved us through the washing of the rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by His grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.”
“This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.”
Ephesians 2:8-9
“For it is grace you have been saved, through faith – and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – not by works, so that no one can boast.”
