About a week ago, I was contacted by the History Channel’s media group asking me to help promote “The Bible”, a new mini-series that was created and produced by Roma Downey, ( Touched By An Angel ) with her husband Mark Burnett (producer:  The Voice ,  Survivor ,  Shark Tank ,  Celebrity Apprentice ). After prayerfully reviewing the materials and consulting with my wise husband, I stated that I was unable to participate in promoting this endeavor due to its highly unbiblical content, as well as their portrayal of championing the virility of man while palliating the glory, righteousness and holiness of God. In approximately two more months, our youngest son will be graduating from high school, receiving a diploma, then moving onto college, where he'll graduate and receive a degree...and so on. If we're honest, we'll all admit, everything we hear or read in the media isn't “the whole truth and nothing but the truth”. Wade ; since that day, nearly 60 million innocent, unborn babies have been slaughtered within, what ought to be the safest place on earth—their mother's womb. By the awesome grace and indelible mercies of our great and sovereign God, our country has stood strong and vibrant for nearly 237 years. One of the greatest blessings in a marriage is having children. And one of the most damaging aspects of a marriage are—having children. How do you keep your marriage and parenting the blessings that God meant them to be? You do it by remembering these four things: why God created marriage and children, what purpose they serve, who they're for, and the priority they have. Though 18.4% of abortions are performed on married women, the aftermath of the abortion  and its effect on her and her husband are rarely discussed, researched or published. There are many arguments for abortion , but none of them are sufficient to relieve the husband or wife’s unbearable grief from participating in their own child’s death. Most abortions are performed within the first trimester, during the time the baby is not viable. This is an elementary argument. Why? Most of us are well acquainted with Proverbs 3:5-7 and could probably recite it in our sleep. But it seems often, that the Scriptures we’ve heard for years, no longer reverberate as the simple, most integral note of our every heart beat— trusting God in everything , for everything . Remember when you first became a Christian? When you first met our Savior, heart to heart? Remember how scared you were to take a breath or even a single step without His voice (through His Word) leading you?
